“On the 1st of January of 2025, Aldo Baldin (1945-1994), one of the greatest Brazilian opera singers with an international career, would turn 80 years old. And for the first half of next year, his story will be shown on cinema screens, with distribution by Bretz Filmes. But first, the film Aldo Baldin – A Life for Music is premiering at festivals around the world and also in Brazil: it will be on December 19, at CCBB. For the special screening, filmmaker Yves Goulart will wear the original 1990’s tailcoat worn by the tenor in important recitals where he performed.”
